FUCHS Lubricants (UK) plc is a subsidiary of FUCHS PETROLUB AG, one of the world's largest manufacturers of lubricants, with 82 manufacturing and marketing companies worldwide and global sales of $1 billion per annum.

Formed in 1996 from the amalgamation of two of the UK's most respected lubricant companies, Silkolene Lubricants and Century Oils, FUCHS UK is a full line supplier of Industrial Lubricants, Automotive Engine Oils, Mining Lubricants, Specialist Motorcycle Lubricants and ancillary products.

The Head Office of Fuchs UK is based in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. The plant is the largest independent oil plant in the UK. We take pride in meeting agreed customer requirements through continuous improvement of our processes to ensure the highest possible product and service quality.

Fuchs UK has held an ISO 9001 (BS 5750 Part 1) Quality Certificate since the mid 1980s: our current Quality Management Systems accreditations include BS EN ISO 9001:2008, BS EN 9100:2003, ISO/TS 16949:2009 and Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency Manufacturing and Assembly Licence.

BRANDS

FUCHS UK still actively markets its Silkolene and Century brands. Silkolene has for decades been the No.1 brand of motorcycle oil in the world and is now the lead brand for FUCHS involvement in motorcycle sport. Century Oils as a leading force in mining lubricants is now the FUCHS world centre of excellence for mining fluids at Hanley and continues to be synonymous with quality. Our Industrial and Automotive products are marketed under the worldwide FUCHS brand name.

Our Technical and Sales & Marketing teams are willing and able to provide a listening ear and offer a multi-functional problem solving service and ongoing support. With 11,700 inventory items and 3 or 4 new items a day, we have the flexibility to respond to customer requirements throughout their business processes.
