Motorbike Competition 2008 Terms and Conditions

By entering the 2008 FUCHS Motorbike Giveaway, entrants will be agreeing to comply with the following Terms and Conditions:

Qualifying Entrants 

1. Entrants must be 18 years or over and a UK or Eire resident.

2. Entrants must hold a full UK driving license.

3. Employees (or persons related to such employees) of FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC are not eligible to enter the Competition. 

4. FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants, disqualify any entrant and select an alternative winner if it has reasonable grounds to believe they have breached any of these Terms and Conditions.

Competition Entries
5. Only one entry per person will go into the draw; however there is no limit on the number of entries received from individual companies. 

6. Entry can be made via the website (www.fuchslubricants.com) or by completing an entry form, available from various outlets or by writing to FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC.

7. There is no purchase requirement to enter the 2008 FUCHS Motorbike Giveaway and entry to the competition is free.

8. The Competition will commence in April 2008 and will run until April 2009  (Exact date to be confirmed).

The Prize

9. The prize is a BMW R 1200 GS Adventure Motorbike, complete with FUCHS livery.

10. The prize is as stated in the Bike Spec. It is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

11. Although vehicle registration is included, tax and insurance will not be provided and all other expenses, fees or surcharges, payable in respect of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner, unless specifically stated by FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC.

12. FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC assumes no responsibility for the reliability or performance of the prize. FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss as a result of malfunction or breakage of the prize.

The Winner
13. The prize winner will be the first entry randomly chosen from all of the qualifying entries received. 

14. The prize winner will be notified either by email, telephone or post within 7 days of the competition closing date.

15. The prize winner may be requested to take part in promotional activities and FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC reserves the right to use their name and photograph for any publicity purpose it sees fit.

Data Collection

16. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party, except for the purpose of fulfilling the prize where applicable. 

17. As a result of entering this draw, your personal information (name, address, telephone number and email address) may be recorded on a computer and used by FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC in future promotional mailings. If you would prefer not to receive promotional mailings, please contact FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK)  PLC.

Other Information

18. FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC reserves the right to amend the competition and these Terms and Conditions at any time. 

19. In the event of any dispute regarding the competition or Terms and Conditions, the decision of FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC shall be final.

20. FUCHS LUBRICANTS (UK) PLC shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to persons or property, arising out of or in connection with the competition and/or prize.
