A NEW DRIVING FORCE FOR FUCHS

FUCHS Lubricants (UK) plc. is pleased to include five new truck cabs into their fleet of delivery vehicles. A substantial investment for FUCHS, the trucks cabs are the latest in automotive technology, combining comfort with efficiency.

FUCHS Lubricants (UK) plc., part of the world’s largest independent lubricant manufacturer, has recently taken delivery of five new fuel efficient MAN XLX truck cabs at their Stoke-on-Trent headquarters. The trucks are in the corporate FUCHS blue colour with individual decoration to showcase a different area of the FUCHS business: Agrifarm agricultural lubricants; industrial lubricants and service support; Titan Race automotive engine oils; CASSIDA food grade lubricants; and Silkolene motorcycle oils.

The MAN truck cabs are equipped with all the latest mod cons for ease of use and comfort for the driver. Added extras, such as a sun shade, two air horns on the cab roof, and mirror trim cover painted in the FUCHS blue, enhance the striking look of the cabs.

One of FUCHS’ specifications was the inclusion of a control module for external data exchange with the FUCHS’ fleet management system, allowing ease of monitoring and communication to obtain maximum route and driving efficiency. Improved delivery management is one of the primary factors for FUCHS acquiring these new trucks, and they form part of their long term plan for sustained customer delivery satisfaction.

FUCHS also chose the MAN truck cabs for their fuel efficiency and low emissions, satisfying the London EURO 5 emission class requirements. “FUCHS has always strived to minimise the impact on the environment - from the lubricants we manufacture to the packaging we supply it in.” Richard Halhead, Managing Director states, “These low emission trucks are just another way we can help reduce our environmental impact”,
