Wire Rope Lubricants


In 2005 Fuchs strengthened it's commitment to this industry with significant investment in a new, state-of-the art wire rope lubricant production plant and equipment.

The process has a unique capability to manufacture both existing and new bespoke products for stranding and closing applications for the offshore, drilling, crane, fishing, pre-stressed concrete, elevator and mining rope sectors. The plant is capable of highly efficient, flexible manufacturing with production quality control to the highest order.

Fuchs Wire Rope Manufacturing Lubricants are proven to protect the rope strands by providing high levels of corrosion protection and are also designed to lubricate the interface between the single wires to minimise metal to metal contact thereby increasing the fatigue life of the rope.
