Multi-functional Gear oils

Advanced mining techniques have resulted in machinery manufacturers developing new equipment to meet the greater demand for efficiency, reliability and output.

This has necessitated the use of high power output equipment but with similar dimensional constraints and lower output speeds as previously utilised.

The coal face is a tough environment for any lubricant with dust, water, high shock loads and varying operating temperatures.

The Powergear family is designed specifically for mining, with a high viscosity index it caters for almost all face equipment requirements thus enabling product rationalisation to a single grade.

It is resistant to water degradation, the additive system remaining stable and affording the same load capabilities even in the presence of water.

The anti-corrosion package together with specially designed anti-foam and anti-oxidation package complement the other components to offer long life with maximum reliability and tolerance to this hostile environment.
